The seamless pipe marking shall include the following: manufacturer's name or trademark, product standard number, steel grade, seamless steel pipe specification and traceability identification number. Marking can be done by jet printing, stamping, rolling, printing, pasting or sticking labels. The marking is required to be eye-catching and clear, with firm handwriting and not easy to fade. The paint or ink used for marking stainless steel seamless steel pipes shall not contain metals or metal salts such as zinc, lead and copper that are harmful to stainless steel seamless steel pipes.

The specific requirements for the marking of seamless steel pipes are as follows:

(1) The seamless steel pipe with an outer diameter greater than or equal to 36mm should start at a distance of not less than 200mm from the end of one side of the seamless steel pipe, and be marked one by one according to the above provisions, and the seamless steel pipe with an outer diameter of less than 36mm may not be marked one by one. .
(2) Welded steel pipes and galvanized welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid transportation, general-purpose electric-welded steel pipes, and welded steel pipes with special-shaped sections may not be marked one by one.
(3) The mark of the alloy seamless steel pipe shall be printed with the furnace number and batch number after the steel grade.
(4) The pipe joints of geological and petroleum steel pipes should be marked with steel grades, etc.
