PTFE Lined Carbon Steel Pipe

Date:2022-10-13 Views:390
The steel-lined PTFE pipe is made of ordinary carbon steel pipe as the matrix, lined with thermoplastic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) plastic with excellent chemical stability, and processed by a specific process. It not only has the mechanical properties of steel pipes, but also has the characteristics of high corrosion resistance, anti-scaling, and not easy to grow microorganisms of tetrafluoroplastics.

Product performance:
Performance: medium working -100℃~-250℃
Medium working pressure: positive pressure: -2.5MPa, negative pressure resistance 70KPa at room temperature.

Corrosion resistance: Steel PTFE composite pipe, except molten metal lithium, potassium, sodium, chlorine trifluoride, oxygen trifluoride at high temperature, liquid fluorine at high flow rate, it can resist almost all chemical media, Including the corrosion of concentrated nitric acid and aqua regia, it can work at a temperature of 230℃-250℃ for a long time. Steel polyvinylidene fluoride or other vinylidene fluoride composite pipes have good corrosion resistance to halogens, halogenated hydrocarbons, strong oxidants, boiling acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents, but are not resistant to fuming sulfuric acid, concentrated Corrosion of hot sulfuric acid and nitric acid, ketones, esters, amines and high temperature sulfonating agents above 90℃.

Product advantages:
High temperature resistance - working temperature up to 250 ℃.
Low temperature resistance - good mechanical toughness; 5% elongation can be maintained even when the temperature drops to -196°C.
Corrosion resistance - inert to most chemicals and solvents, strong acid and alkali resistance, water and various organic solvents.
Weather Resistant - Has the best aging life of any plastic.
High Lubrication - The lowest coefficient of friction among solid materials.
Non-stick - is the smallest surface tension in a solid material that does not stick to anything.
Non-toxic - non-toxic to living things.

Applications:

It is suitable for strong corrosive gases and liquids at high temperature. Other types of steel-plastic composite pipes and metal pipes are not suitable for conveying strong acid and alkali media under high temperature conditions. The theoretical working temperature of the composite pipe is -40℃~+150℃ for corrosive media.
